There are people with whom we share space and time. Sometimes, as the amount of time spent together increases, our faith in ourselves and in others, grows. This faith seems to exist in the space that is shared by people, and it feels almost like the lightness in an empty room, like the quiet lightness of a misty landscape. Over time and with faith, we learn to let others be as we let ourselves be who we are, we start living our lives around them as if no one is watching, as if we are with ourselves.

 In these moments, I see and feel a rawness that exists within us all, that quality of honesty that people share with me in those fleeting moments are sometimes imbibed into my memory for they are beautiful and divine. In these portraits I try and work with the fine drama and tensions that we all exist in and to portray some of the beauty that I see in these very human moments.
